The pornography industry is booming, and for good reason.

There’s no better way to kill time than watching a hot video of your favorite internet star.

Whether it’s an Instagram model who makes you salivate with her TikTok vids or that Facebook game streamer you’ve had a crush on, these websites give you access to their naked flesh.

And best of all, it’s free.

But what’s not so great is that sex workers on sites like OnlyFans face the risk of their work being stolen and reposted without their consent.

The premium pay model ostensibly allows creators to profit from their work behind a trusted paywall.

But sex workers say that in reality, it’s easy for anyone to take photos and videos from the site and repost them elsewhere, depriving them of their income.

Earlier this month, a massive leak of content from OnlyFans began spreading across the internet.

The leak featured hundreds of videos and photos, and most were attributed to specific models on the site.

The leak was first revealed by journalist Vonny LeClerc on Twitter, and many users of the site have reported being able to download the contents for free.

While it appears that this was not a security breach, many people have jumped to the conclusion that OnlyFans’ privacy policies are lax and have allowed for the content to be stolen and shared for free.

Motherboard has found that it is very easy to download photos and videos from OnlyFans using a program called a “scraper.”

A scraper is software that automatically churns through the website to collect data.

This information can then be downloaded and re-hosted on free sites, resold, or even used to dox and harass models online.

For some models, this is devastating. Osa Lovely, a US-based porn star, says that her videos have already been posted on free sites, and that the experience has left her feeling exposed and paranoid.

“This is material that I’ve put a lot of time into,” she tells BuzzFeed. “It’s my career.”

While Osa Lovely has yet to receive any direct threats, she is aware of the effect this could have on her business.

Many sex workers rely on platforms like OnlyFans to monetize their work and provide for their families, and having that revenue stripped away could be catastrophic.

As long as sites like Thothub, thottube, and the free Discord servers filled with leaked OnlyFans videos  stolen content are able to be found on Google, this problem will persist. It’s time for Google to take more action, and start weeding out these sites that steal content from creators for their own financial gain. It’s not just OnlyFans, other major adult sites also have similar issues and are constantly being abused by underage kids. In fact, UK police forces are receiving reports of children being sexually exploited through these sites. They’re warning parents to keep an eye out for these sites and report them if you see any suspicious activity.
