TRAINING

Weekly in-house training is a requisite for placements at RVIM. All students who are enrolled for our MBA programme shall have mandatory sessions on their weekly schedule for in-house training. Through a combination of guest lectures, seminars, and workshops, these sessions enhance our students’ employability skills. During the course of the training programmes, we cover a wide range of aptitudes and competencies such as:

PLACEMENT PROCESS

CAMPUS PLACEMENTS

We leverage our industry linkages to provide our students with immense opportunities through on-campus as well as off-campus placements. The latter is conducted in respective organisations where management students from different colleges are invited to take part.

The common selection process that companies follow includes:

INTERNSHIP AND DISSERTATION

The pedagogy at RVIM requires students to take up summer internships under the guidance of a faculty member at the end of the second semester. Such programmes allow our scholars to analyse different career prospects and choose the path they wish to pursue. The aim of the summer internship projects is to build strong foundational skills through a hands-on approach.

Selection procedure

The placement cell notifies the availability of projects to prospective interns through regular mails. Once students respond to these mails, they are grouped to conduct preliminary interviews. Following this, students are offered permission through official letters from the companies to proceed with their assigned work. On successful completion of the internship, the project report is evaluated by a panel of examiners.
