National Management Week – 2022
RV Institute of Management, Bangalore – An autonomous institute under Bangalore City University certified with A+ ranking. The college is offering an MBA program with a mission of training students into achievers as our mission states – 'Go change the World’.
The institute participated in AIMS National Management Week 2022 and week-long programs were organized from 1st August to 7th August, 2022. This provided a platform for students to involve themselves and render services through activities that contribute to societal change. Several events was organized through the week.

Day 1: August 1, 2022
A Demo session on Traffic Awareness and Traffic Rules by Police Officers from MICO Layout, Police Station
Traffic Awareness program organized on the 1st of August’22 with participation from the traffic police of Mico layout station, Bengaluru, students were told about the importance of sticking to traffic rules and students created awareness on adhering to traffic rules at 4th T block Jayanagar circle.
Impact: All students pledged to abide by the Traffic Rules and realised their responsibility in preventing road mishaps

Day 2: August 2, 2022
Door-to-Door Campaign on Creating Awareness regarding Rainwater Harvesting and Visit to Visveshwaraiah Rainwater harvesting Theme Park
Students and faculty participated in Awareness on Advantages of Rainwater Harvesting by conducting a road-show till the Visvesvariah Rainwater Harvesting theme park Bengaluru on 2nd August’22.
Impact : Students took the pledge to stop misuse of water resources and also conveyed the strong message to the general public regarding the importance of conserving rain water.

Poster Making on the theme “Awareness of Sustainable Development Goals”

Day 3: August 3, 2022 – Animal Welfare Event – Sharing Food to Stray Dogs & Cows
“Sharing is caring”. This old famous saying has been such an integral part of our lives. Feeding of stray dogs and cows were done by the students and staff on 3rd August 2022 near to their home. By picking a safe spot that is fairly away from the daily commute, ensure a safer and undisturbed feeding routine.
Impact : Developing the virtue of being compassionate to uncared animals

Visit to Samarthanam Trust – Student’s Interaction with mentally & Visually challenged children
Visit to NGO Samarthanam Trust Bengaluru, which is working for differently abled students organized on the 4th of August’22. Students visited the NGO and spent time with the students by interacting with and trying to understand what changes the training at Samarthanam has made for the in-mates. Students and faculty of the college also made a donation for the education of a student.

Impact: Encouraged students to understand the importance of charity and help the needy

Yoga Session & Entertainment [Light Music] For Senior Citizens
Yoga and wellness program for elderly senior citizens at The Divinity Foundation Bengaluru was organized on the 4th of August’22. Senior citizens were given a guided yoga and meditation session by Ms. Parvathi trained yoga instructor followed by a light music session by Ms. Anusha Hegde MBA student of R V Institute of Management.

Public awareness program on continuing to follow COVID guidelines was organized on 5th August’2022. Students participated by recording the responses of public.

Free Medical Camp for underprivileged sections of society
Free medical test camp was organized by RV Institute of Management Students and Faculty on the 6th of August’22 in association with Sun Diagnostics Bengaluru. The camp was open to public, more than a hundred general public, BBMP staff, street vendors took the benefit of the camp.
Impact : Created an awareness among the underprivileged sections of society regarding preventive care and seeking timely medical help.

Donation of collected funds at Fatima Handicap Welfare Trust
Faculty and students of the college visited and donated to Fathima Handicap Welfare trust, BTM 1 st Stage, Bengaluru on 6th August’22. This welfare home offers its care and services for the mentally challenged children.
Impact: Sensitization towards creating an inclusive society by caring for the mentally challenged children

Day 7: August 7, 2022- Public Awareness Program on 75th year India’s Independence ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav’
On the last concluding day of the National Management Week -2022 a ‘Awreness progam on ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahaotsav’ was organized on 7th August’22, by the students and faculty of the college. The programme informed the general public about the purpose of ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahaotsav’ and informed on India’s achievements in the last 75 years. Event was conducted at Lalbagh Flower show. Impact of the programme was it ensured the message of ‘Azadi Ka Amruth Mahaotsav’reached the general public.
Impact : Acknowledging and celebrating the achievements made by our country and the importance of taking the Legacy forward
